Terms of Service

I use Artistree to take commissions: openings are announced through my Twitter, InkBunny & Telegram!During this time commissioners are welcome to place commission applications through my Artistree page for a spot in the queue until slots are filled.Commissions are NOT first come first serve!
They are selected based on the applications received. Commissioners are also allowed to submit multiple requests, however, if chosen, I will only be selecting one idea to draw.
YOU MUST BE OVER 18 TO APPLY FOR A COMMISSION!
If I have reason to believe that you are not 18+, I reserve the right to refuse service.
Please note that my art does not reflect my interests irl.
By commissioning me you understand that all work is based purely on fiction. I will NOT interact or work with anyone who identifies as a M.A.P./zoo/etc. or engages in illegal/inhumane activities.
I reserve the right to decline commissions at any given time without needing to provide a reason. Any threats or overall ill behavior will result in the cancellation of a commission and a possible ban from future commissions.Selected applicants will be contacted within 48 hours (barring unforeseen events) after the queue has closed to start the commission process. Announcements will be made over Twitter to inform others that commission applications are now closed.

Artist & Commissioner Rights

I, tigerakki, as the artist, retain full copyright to all images unless otherwise specified through an official agreement (requiring signatures of both parties). I retain the rights to post commissioned images in my galleries, reproduce the images for sale online or at conventions, or otherwise use the image commercially in prints, digital art collections, books, etc.
Rights to the original characters remain with their owners, where trademarked.
By commissioning me you are buying art drawn in my style.
You are aware that I draw very cartoony characters with muted colors that may be different from the original reference.
Understand that I will not be making stylistic adaptations.
If the style you see used in my art is not what you want,
DO NOT COMMISSION ME.
Currently I cannot accept doing private commissions as I'm still looking to expand my gallery and need all the help I can get to also grow as an artist. As the client, you receive the rights to post the commissioned images anywhere you’d like for personal non-commercial non-profit purposes, as long as you credit me as the artist.Clients retain the right to edit artwork by cropping and resizing for personal use (ex. Icons, avatars, banners). Any other edits such as removal or watermarks/altercations are prohibited.Clients do not have the right to approve others to edit my art unless previously discussed with me.Clients do not have the right to working files of the commissioned artwork. I do not distribute working files to clients unless discussed otherwise.Clients do not have the right to use any part of the commissioned artwork for Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs) or AI generations.I as the artist will never take credit or claim copyright to the characters that I did not design, and when possible will credit the original creators. All standard commissioned art will be digitized; I do not physically ship out artwork. A high-quality file of the artwork will be sent through Artistree or the commissioner's email / Telegram if requested.

Art I Will & Wont Draw

As the artist, I retain the right to refuse any subject matter and content that I am not comfortable with. Since I am still exploring and expanding my comfort zones of what I like to draw, each subject will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Please ask if you are unsure!

Commission Queue

If you have been selected for the queue and have paid your invoice, you will be able to find updated information about your commission on my Trello page.Updates to your commission (including sketching, inking, bkg / coloring, and finishing progress) will be made to the board as they are completed.

Time + Work in Progress Updates

I will NOT accept commissions with deadlines as I am usually busy with work, school, projects, etc. that takes the most priority. Please allow anywhere from 1 day to 3 months for the completion of your commission after I accept it. If I can’t finish it in a reasonable time, I will notify you and we can work something out.All commissions come with a Work in Progress. WIPs are sent out after initial sketches are complete to allow the commissioner to confirm that the art is correct before work is continued in your place. After you receive the WIP update, you may request edits to the art.
Minor edits (limb positioning, facial expression, coloring, etc.) will be limited to 3 free edits, as well as anything that I may have missed from the information you have provided.
Any major edits (redrawing a large portion of the image or edits based on information not included in the initial application) will come with a small fee based on the time it will take to complete the edits. This fee must be paid before edits are made! Please review WIP's carefully to assure client satisfaction. Once the client approves the WIP, I will NOT make further edits after progressing to the next stage. (Example: asking for changes to character poses after I complete the lineart).Any edits/artwork requested that fall under “style” rather than technical details may be refused. Please be aware that as an artist, my style shifts over time, and I may refuse requests to replicate an earlier “style” or technique.Once the commission is completed I will not go back and make further edits.I am NOT responsible if you forget to mention something you wanted in your commission.

Refunds

If I have begun the commission process and you decide you would like to stop, please let me know as soon as possible. I understand that issues can arise suddenly and am more than happy to work with you if such an event occurs. If I have not begun work on your commission, a full refund will be made.If I have started the commission, you will receive a partial refund based on the work that has already been completed. If you cancel your commission and receive a full refund, you will have to wait until another commission opening to apply again and will be subject to the same rules as all commissioners in terms of selection. If severe life circumstances arise that limit your ability to continue with a commission, please contact me and I’ll do my best to negotiate a solution that will work best for all parties involved.Refunds will be delivered within 72 hours of their request (barring unforseen events).Refunds will NOT be considered once the commission has been completed.
